About Jump-In Support
Support is personal to us.
At Jump-In, we believe good disability support starts with understanding the person.
We are a family-owned business, and disability is part of our own family’s story. Having a family member with disability has given us a personal understanding of just how important the right care and support can be, not only for the person receiving support, but for the people who love and support them too.
We understand the trust that comes with relying on someone to care for and support a person who matters to you.
That experience shapes the way we approach Jump-In today.
We want to provide the kind of support we would want for our own family: compassionate, reliable, respectful and genuinely centred around the individual.
The person comes first.
We know that disability doesn't define a person.
Every person has their own personality, interests, routines, strengths, relationships and goals. They have their own idea of what makes a good day and what they want their life to look like.
That's why we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to support.
We take the time to listen, get to know the person and understand what's important to them. We work alongside participants, their families and the people involved in their support to provide care that fits around the individual, rather than expecting the individual to fit around the service.
For us, it starts with a simple question:
What does a good life look like for you?
And then we listen.
More than providing care.
Good support is about more than completing tasks.
It's about helping someone feel heard, respected, safe and included.
It's about encouraging choice and independence, building confidence, creating opportunities and supporting people to be part of their community in ways that are meaningful to them.
Sometimes it's about achieving a big goal. Other times, it's the everyday things that make the greatest difference.
We believe those moments matter.
Family values. Professional support.
Being family-owned influences the way we look at the responsibility that comes with providing disability support.
We know that behind every support plan and every shift is a real person, and often a family, placing their trust in us.
We don't take that trust lightly.
We want Jump-In to feel personal, approachable and connected, while providing the professionalism, consistency and accountability people should expect from their disability support provider.
We listen, communicate, collaborate and keep looking for ways to improve.
Most importantly, we never want to lose sight of the person at the centre of everything we do.
That's what Jump-In means to us.
See the person. Listen to what matters. Provide support with genuine care.
Whether you're looking for support for yourself, someone you love, or a participant you work with, we'd love to get to know you.
